TIMMINS, ON – A powerful new initiative is coming to Timmins and surrounding communities. 100 Women Who Care Timmins & Area invites local women to join a movement that will generate over $10,000 in just one hour to support community needs, four times per year.

The inaugural meeting will take place at Timmins Museum: National Exhibition Centre, 325 Second Ave. Timmins, ON. Doors open at 6:00 PM for registration, with the meeting beginning at 7:00 PM. Virtual attendance options are available for those unable to attend in person.

“We’re bringing together women who want to make an immediate, direct impact in our community”, says Kim Hallworth, Chair of 100 Women Who Care Timmins & Area. “In just one hour, four times a year, we can create significant positive change for local organizations and individuals in need.”.

• Members commit to donating $100 at each quarterly meeting
• Three nominations are randomly selected at each meeting
• Members hear five-minute presentations about each nominated cause
• The group votes and the winning cause receives all donations from that meeting
• Any local organization or individual in need can be nominated

• Women to join as members ($100 quarterly commitment)
• Steering Committee volunteers to assist with planning and organization
• Corporate sponsors to help cover administrative costs, ensuring 100% of member donations go directly to chosen recipients

100 Women Who Care Timmins & Area offers local businesses a unique opportunity to demonstrate their community commitment through sponsorship. All sponsorship funds cover administrative costs, ensuring member donations go directly to chosen recipients.
